I began my art studies in Chicago ; after relocating to Indiana, I became intrigued with printmaking because of the various materials, techniques and processes utilized to create artistic images. Printing involves the transferring of inks from a various drawing surfaces to paper or fabric. My images are based on my life experiences and travel.

I have earned a BA , a BS and a MS in Education from Universities in Illinois and Indiana. Also with the University of Iowa I spent 6 weeks in Venice, Italy studying printmaking,etchings. I was an educator in Chicago, Indiana, and Sumner County TN schools.

I have received cash and purchase awards along with numerous Honorable Mentions in Juried Museum Exhibitions in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. My art pieces are in corporate collections in those states also.
